Loopline Museum and Information Centre
GMLRS's Loopline Museum was officially opened in March 2004 to keep the public’s interest in the Loopline alive. It was run by a small team of dedicated volunteers who kept it operating for 7 years.
It closed in April 2010 due to earthquake damage but re-opened in January 2013 after work had been completed restoring the internal walls and ceilings.
Many of the exhibits in the museum have been donated by local people, whilst others are on loan from the Eastern Goldfields Historical Society, which is located in the Old Power House adjacent to the Boulder City Station.
The Information Centre has all the latest brochures and information for all your travel needs in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Goldfields region and beyond. Drop in and see how we can help you...
